The Training school was organised by CA 22139 and dr Lana Petӧ Kujundžić, a High Criminal Court Judge in Croatia and a CA 22139 member, together with her team from the Croatian Association of Juvenile Court judges, Family Judges and experts on children and young people, led by Matea Babić. 

This training school aimed to encourage cooperation between local professionals from various fields: judges, lawyers, police officers, social workers, teachers, paediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and representatives from government and non-governmental organisations. The programme included speakers from the UK, Serbia, and Zagreb, COST members and non-COST members. The topics focused on language difficulties in children in contact with the law, highlighting the linguistic constructions that may be challenging for children with language difficulties, characteristics of children and young people with various neurodevelopmental disorders who may come into contact with the law, as well as ways of simplifying legal language presented to the children, both in terms of grammar and vocabulary.
