The third Management Committee meeting was held in Crete on 9 April 2025. The Action now brings together 189 participants from 28 countries. The second call for Short Term Scientific Missions was announced, and each Working Group reported on its progress, from a systematic review of adolescent comprehension and analysis of syntactic complexity in legal texts to surveys of legal professionals and workshops with youth offending services. The Action Chair and Vice Chair introduced a forthcoming Research Framework on ethics and authorship. Upcoming activities include a training school on language development in Warsaw in September 2025 and a presentation of the Action at the World Congress on Child Justice in Madrid.

Members heard updates on science communication, including the Action’s website and social media channels, where recordings of past webinars and training schools are available, and plans for a shared resource repository.
