2. Capacity Building Objectives
- Create a multilingual knowledge hub: Develop an online platform accessible to the scientific community, professionals in forensic youth care, and the general public. This hub will feature a database of assessment tools in various languages, along with a linguistic toolkit that outlines key language phenomena crucial for police and court interactions.
- Foster knowledge exchange: Promote interprofessional, interdisciplinary, intersectoral, and international collaboration by building a network of academics and practitioners from fields such as developmental and theoretical linguistics, speech and language therapy, psychology, law, social work, criminology, sociology, and health sciences, alongside key stakeholders.

- Establish a sustainable research agenda: Develop a research agenda as part of the Action’s sustainability plan, aimed at generating collaborative funding applications. This will support direct assessments of the language needs of children and adolescents in contact with the law, at both national and international levels.
- Promote international cooperation: Encourage cross-disciplinary sharing of best practices and research findings, including contributions from less research-intensive countries in ITCs (Inclusiveness Target Countries) and NNCs (Near Neighbour Countries), where interdisciplinary expertise is scarce. This will help address the disparity in knowledge and practice across Europe and beyond.
Train Young Researchers and Innovators (YRI): Provide training opportunities for Early Career Investigators (ECIs) within the network, equipping them to take on a variety of roles and preparing them for future research actions
